In The Glass & Beyond

Speaking

Bourbon deserves stewardship, not spectacle.

Bourbon is more than a product. It is history, agriculture, chemistry, regulation, hospitality, and human ambition — all distilled into one glass.

I speak at the intersection of heritage and structure. My talks blend historical depth with operational reality, offering audiences both inspiration and clarity. Whether addressing founders, investors, hospitality leaders, or bourbon enthusiasts, I bring practical experience from inside a working distillery and a deep respect for the people who built this industry.

April Weller-Cantrell, known in the bourbon world as The Bourbon Baroness, is an Executive Bourbon Steward and former distillery executive with more than twelve years of hands-on experience building and guiding craft whiskey operations.

While deeply rooted in Kentucky’s bourbon heritage, April gained much of her operational expertise inside a working Tennessee distillery, where she helped build systems, compliance, hospitality, and maturation strategy from the ground up. She has since advised emerging distillery projects across Tennessee, Kentucky, and Georgia, blending historical knowledge with real-world leadership.

Her talks bridge heritage and discipline — offering audiences both inspiration and practical clarity about what it truly takes to steward American whiskey.
